Position Overview
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models to tackle complex business challenges. You will collaborate across teams to embed AI solutions into current systems and enhance model performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch to resolve specific business needs.
- Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to transition models into production environments.
- Enhance models for scalability, precision, and efficiency in practical applications.
- Create and manage pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
- Perform experiments to assess model effectiveness and make iterative improvements according to business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming with expertise in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and statistical modeling methods.
- Experience utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying and scaling models.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database systems for data extraction and preparation.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and collaborative software development processes.
- Understanding of MLOps principles including model monitoring, logging, and continuous integration workflows.
- Skilled in hyperparameter tuning and optimization techniques for machine learning models.
- Capability to work autonomously managing several responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
