About the Role
Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency is seeking a caring, dependable nanny to support children in a safe, engaging, and development-focused environment. This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is centered on helping children feel secure, supported, and encouraged in their daily routines and growth.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of childcare experience, along with a positive attitude, maturity, and a strong commitment to children’s well-being. You will be part of a team that values family support, celebrates caregivers, and offers flexible arrangements, competitive pay, and room for growth.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $19.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and engaging setting where children can learn and develop.
- Organize age-suitable activities that support learning and overall development.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks while taking children’s dietary needs and preferences into account.
- Keep parents informed with clear, ongoing communication about their child’s needs and progress.
- Support homework and other educational tasks that help build a love of learning.
- Manage everyday schedules such as naps, meals, and play periods to keep the day structured.
- Promote positive behavior and social development through supportive guidance in different environments.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience caring for children of varying ages, including infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and children with disabilities.
- Working knowledge of childcare standards, child safety practices, and developmental play.
- Confidence in giving first aid and staying calm and effective during emergencies.
- Ability to prepare meals aligned with children’s nutritional requirements.
- Practical experience with diapering, feeding, potty training, and supervising playtime.
- Strong verbal communication skills for working with parents and other caregivers.
- Ability to carry out light cleaning tasks connected to childcare.
- Interest and skill in supporting early childhood learning activities.
- A patient, compassionate approach that respects each child’s individual needs.
