Network Security Engineer

About the Role

This position is for a Network Security Engineer who will support and maintain enterprise security infrastructure with a primary emphasis on Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA. The role is based in India and requires onsite work. The goal is to help keep connectivity secure across on-premises, cloud, and remote user environments.

Core Responsibilities

The engineer will handle day-to-day management of network security platforms, assist with secure access operations, and help ensure the stability and protection of enterprise traffic flows.

Required Experience and Skills

Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in network security or security operations. Strong practical exposure to Fortinet FortiGate is essential, along with working familiarity with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA. The role also calls for knowledge of firewall rule administration, IDS/IPS, proxy technologies, troubleshooting, documentation, monitoring, patching, upgrades, and ticket-based support.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

Preferred background includes experience with SASE, Zero Trust, and ZTNA concepts, as well as exposure to cloud or hybrid environments. Relevant certifications such as Fortinet, Zscaler, or CCNP Security are a plus.
