This role reports directly to the Offshore Solutions Business Manager and contributes to ABB's Energy Industries Division, which serves as a global centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational facets of the division including project management, engineering, site management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and planning.
• Develop and execute business action plans aligned with division strategy and targets, ensuring adherence to safety, integrity, and company policies.
• Monitor implementation plans, identify deviations, and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitor progress, and take cost-containment actions to maintain operations within allocated resources.
• Design and implement programs and metrics to optimize operational performance and working capital throughout the operations.
• Ensure the entire organization maintains a value chain perspective meeting customer expectations in quality, service level, and delivery timelines.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through behaviors, methodologies, and processes.
• Identify risks and safety hazards and implement safety plans for personnel and equipment.
• Collaborate with sales teams to improve understanding of customer requirements and operational constraints, providing solutions to enhance service delivery.

Qualification Requirements

• Approximately 15 years of experience in operations management, specifically related to system delivery projects with multiple scopes.
• A university degree in engineering, finance, or business administration.
• Proven experience working within international contexts involving multicultural teams and diverse management stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated success in guiding teams through change and fostering development in people and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with sound cultural awareness that builds strong working relationships.
• Results-oriented, well-structured, proactive, and accountable with a positive mindset.

It focuses on integrated automation, digitalization, and electrification to support decarbonization and renewable energy integration. Leveraging over 50 years of expertise combined with AI and machine learning, it aims to improve operational efficiency while minimizing risks, costs, and waste throughout project and plant lifecycles.
