Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Xstore Developer to design, develop, and customize Oracle Retail Xstore POS applications. The role involves working with Java, XML, and SQL technologies to configure Xstore, integrate it with Oracle Retail systems, troubleshoot application issues, and implement enhancements. You will also support deployment activities, testing phases, and production environment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and tailor Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions according to business requirements using Java, XML, and SQL.
- Configure Xstore settings and ensure seamless integration with Oracle Retail Suite components.
- Diagnose and resolve POS-related technical problems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Create and apply custom enhancements to improve POS functionality.
- Provide support during deployment, testing, and live production phases to ensure stability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Java development and configuration of Oracle Retail Xstore POS.
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database management.
- Knowledge of Oracle Retail Suite components including Oracle Retail Xstore Office.
- Ability to customize POS applications and handle XML data structures.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
