Role Overview
Join a prestigious quantitative trading firm as a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) tasked with designing, building, and maintaining scalable, resilient infrastructure that supports critical trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain highly scalable platform infrastructure tailored to mission-critical requirements.
- Create and refine CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment processes.
- Enhance platform monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting to improve observability.
- Build automation frameworks and self-service tools for operational efficiency.
- Manage containerized workloads and orchestration technologies within expansive environments.
- Boost system reliability, performance, and scalability for distributed systems and middleware components.
Required Skills & Experiences
- Previous experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, or DevOps Engineer.
- Proficient in Linux systems administration and automation strategies.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) platforms.
- Familiar with monitoring, logging, and observability tools and platforms.
- Knowledgeable in infrastructure automation and defining Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong coding skills in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep commitment to creating reliable, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions.
