Job Overview
We are looking for a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams involved in satellite technology projects. This role demands translating client requirements and timelines efficiently to engineering teams while applying excellent planning methodologies and communication skills. The position is based onsite, requiring a self-motivated individual with strong time management and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison among Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to identify production constraints and develop plans that satisfy business and customer demands.
- Oversee program schedules, costs, and scope to ensure targets are met.
- Facilitate meetings with customers and internal teams to assess timeline progress and financial status.
- Lead program delivery to achieve project milestones and financial objectives aligned with customer and business goals.
- Identify risks proactively and manage potential challenges.
- Participate in process enhancement initiatives across departments to ensure clear communication of production priorities.
- Demonstrate aptitude in planning, prioritizing, executing tasks, following up, and adjusting to changing conditions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout program activities.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Between 8 and 15 years of experience, preferably within defense or space industries.
- Highly self-driven and proactive work ethic.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communicator at all organizational levels.
- Excellent skills in written presentations and verbal communication.
- Organized with strong recordkeeping abilities, including handling confidential information.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and navigate competing priorities effectively.
- Must be a US Person meeting export control and security requirements, including citizenship or lawful status in the United States.
