Overview
Based in Drogheda or the UK, this full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary and involves managing infrastructure projects focused on reactive works, shutdowns, and traffic management. The role operates Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and operational teams to ensure projects are completed safely, punctually, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of reactive works, shutdowns, and traffic management projects from beginning to completion.
- Develop and plan schedules, allocate resources, and manage work programs within the assigned region.
- Engage with clients, operational teams, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Create work packs, issue purchase orders, and update project tracking systems.
- Generate reports concerning project progress, productivity, and overall performance.
- Identify and address project-related issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion a positive health and safety culture throughout all project tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in project or schedule coordination and managing operational activities.
- Strong communication skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
- Proficient in IT applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Power BI.
- Commercially aware with aptitude for managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive in problem resolution, confident in assuming responsibility.
- Effective team collaborator capable of building productive workplace and client relationships.
