Job Overview

The Project Engineer will oversee the technical execution and ensure the successful delivery of pumping system projects. Responsibilities include managing adherence to technical specifications, budget constraints, and schedules.

Key Duties

• Assist in formulating detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates while tracking progress against key milestones.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations during project delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to monitor procurement actions and ensure timely delivery of materials on-site.
• Coordinate across multiple disciplines to meet project targets within the allocated schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Facilitate technical issue resolution, providing recommendations and collaborating closely with Project Management.
• Engage in technical discussions involving clients and suppliers, including HAZOP evaluations, P&ID, and 3D Model Reviews, ensuring timely completion of follow-up actions.
• Manage preparation and issuance of all project documentation such as technical specifications, planning documents, requisitions, and related deliverables across disciplines.
• Examine bid requisitions, perform technical assessments, tabulate and advise on equipment and material selections.
• Identify and govern project changes, monitor impact, and assist with processing potential change orders properly.
• Support production-related activities, maintain daily communication with both internal and external stakeholders, conduct weekly project progress reviews, and encourage best practices in project management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; specialization in Project Management is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• At least four years of professional experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector or related industries.
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and planning tools.
• Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience collaborating with customers, suppliers, and diverse technical teams.
• Excellent proficiency in English, particularly in communication and negotiation.
• Ability to operate independently and support projects in an international context.
• Strong decision-making, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
