Project Manager

Overview

Datamatics Technologies is hiring an accomplished Project Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to oversee and deliver technology and business projects effectively. This role demands a leader capable of managing all aspects of projects including scope, schedule, budgets, and risks, ensuring timely delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive project planning, execution, continuous tracking, and final delivery.
• Establish project scopes, objectives, timelines, and necessary resources.
• Handle scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, issue resolution, dependencies, and change management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical personnel, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain adherence to governance and quality standards.
• Organize project meetings, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and steering committee briefings.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Promote continuous process enhancements and successful project completion.

Required Skills

• Expertise in managing project scope, timelines, costs, risks, dependencies, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Proficient use of tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
• Experience in risk, issue, and change management.
• Competence in budget, resource, and capacity planning.
• Strong skills in stakeholder and vendor management, executive communication, and project governance.
• Ability to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively.
• Strong leadership capabilities, negotiation, decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving qualifications.
• Experience handling multiple simultaneous projects and cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills and Certifications

• Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or Slack.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), DevOps, or continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience in financial forecasting and project reporting.
• Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of IT governance and compliance frameworks.
• Participation in Agile or digital transformation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Professional experience of 6 to 11 years in project management, preferably in IT or technology sectors.
• Proven record of delivering projects within time, scope, and budget.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Capability to lead diverse and distributed teams in dynamic settings.
