About Dawn Property Consultancy
Founded in 1977, Dawn Property Consultancy offers expert real estate services to a diverse clientele including government bodies, corporate and institutional clients, financial sectors, and private individuals. Managing an extensive portfolio of 340,000 square meters across 125 buildings with 757 leases for 19 clients, the firm earns revenue through valuation, advisory, and property management. It operates across Zimbabwe with offices in Harare (covering the northern region) and Bulawayo (covering the southern region). Their services are tailored to meet specific client needs, with additional offerings such as property sales, leasing, research, and development advisory.
Role Overview
The Property Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Harare, Zimbabwe. The role entails managing daily property administration tasks, including maintenance of lease documentation, tracking rental collections and payments, assisting with budgeting and reconciling service charges. The administrator will address tenant inquiries, coordinate with landlords, contractors, and internal teams, and ensure swift handling of maintenance and service problems. Additional duties include preparing property-related reports and documents, assisting with inspections, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Zimbabwean property regulations. This position contributes to the effective management of the property portfolio and maintaining excellent client and tenant services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in property management and real estate, specifically lease administration and portfolio coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required to engage clients, tenants, and service vendors effectively.
- Capable of delivering excellent customer service by managing queries, solving problems, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Basic budgeting capabilities, including financial monitoring, reporting, and cost control awareness.
- Relevant academic credentials in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or related areas are preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational proficiency, attention to detail, and competency using office and property management software.
- Familiarity with Zimbabwean local property market customs and legal regulations considered an advantage.
