Python Developer - Generative AI

Role Overview

Join the Infosys consulting team as a Python Developer specialized in Generative AI, contributing significantly at every stage of projects from problem definition to solution deployment. This position is onsite in Bengaluru East, Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities

• Support various phases of consulting projects including defining problems, estimating efforts, diagnosing issues, designing solutions, and deploying them effectively.
• Conduct thorough research including literature reviews, public domain information, and vendor evaluations to explore alternative solutions and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications, outline to-be processes, and finalize functional designs.
• Configure product-based solutions, troubleshoot and analyze root causes of issues, and assess potential solution alternatives.
• Contribute to both unit-level and organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality value-added solutions for clients.
• Collaborate closely with clients to identify business challenges and refine, analyze, and organize relevant data to improve deliverables.
• Remain updated on the latest industry technologies and trends to incorporate innovative solutions.
• Apply logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to overcome complex challenges.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, demonstrating strong collaboration abilities.
• Evaluate existing client processes, identify areas for enhancement, and propose technology-based solutions to optimize outcomes.
• Leverage domain knowledge in one or two industry sectors to tailor solutions appropriately.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven expertise in Python programming and Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies.
• Strong consulting and client-facing experience to address business problems with technical solutions.
• Ability to interpret complex requirements and drive functional design and product configuration.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with clients and internal teams.
• Industry domain knowledge for at least one or two sectors is preferred.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends.
