About the Role
Gateworth Group is partnering with an innovative technology client based in the UAE to enhance its quality engineering capabilities by establishing a dedicated leadership role within the QA function. The position is that of a QA Team Lead who will supervise a diverse team consisting of QA Engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs), direct testing methodologies, and uphold superior quality standards across intricate software systems. The role offers flexibility with options to work from Dubai or remotely, accommodating multiple global team locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a QA team responsible for manual and automated testing efforts.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing phases.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to coordinate test planning and execution across various system layers.
- Ensure timely completion of test cycles while meeting established quality benchmarks.
- Manage integration of QA operations within Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate ongoing automated testing.
- Serve as the QA representative during release planning, design evaluations, and wider engineering forums.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable leadership experience in QA teams, especially within networking, systems software, or related technical domains.
- Strong expertise in test automation paired with a solid understanding of modern network environments.
- Experience managing QA activities within CI/CD-oriented engineering setups.
- Familiarity with core concepts in routing and data center networking.
- Excellent communication skills with the aptitude to mentor, direct, and influence engineering colleagues effectively.
