Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
- Engage throughout the development lifecycle from concept through industrialization to the final product and process release of components.
- Implement preventive supplier management techniques during product development, including risk classification and VDA-RGA methodologies.
- Apply quality management practices, particularly in supplier interactions, supported by process auditor qualifications according to VDA 6.34 standards.
- Participate in initial concept design, development stages, sampling, and final component approval processes.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities by scrutinizing their quality and production competencies for awarding contracts.
Technical Knowledge and Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies.
- Familiarity with the IATF 16949 quality management standard.
- Proficient in measurement techniques, metrology, inspection methods, and associated equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and knowledge of manufacturing process workflows.
- Experience handling Body in White (BIW) commodity.
Educational and Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any of the following disciplines: Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, or Electronics, Electrical.
