Role Summary

The Quality Technician for OGS's Machining Division will play a vital role in upholding the company's high-quality product standards within an aerospace production and inspection environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Review contracts to verify adherence to customer and industry standards.
  • Assist in inspection processes, layout tasks, and data collection to meet production quality needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on customer documentation, notably with experience related to Meggitt and GE.
  • Prepare and audit documentation like PPAP and FAI and maintain active inspection certifications.
  • Perform capability studies including CPK calculations and manage relevant data logs.
  • Apply strong GD&T knowledge in daily functions.
  • Use various mechanical inspection devices such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and hardness testing tools.
  • Create bubble drawings and Inspection Plan Documents (IPD) as necessary.
