About the Position
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Research Analyst to join our team full-time onsite in Berlin, Germany. This entry to mid-level role focuses on conducting comprehensive research, analyzing diverse datasets, and uncovering trends to facilitate informed business decisions. Ideal candidates have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking prowess, and enthusiasm for transforming data into meaningful, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both quantitative and qualitative research leveraging internal and external data sources.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to markets, industries, customers, competitors, and business performance.
- Compile comprehensive research reports, create informative presentations, dashboards, and deliver strategic insights to stakeholders.
- Track industry trends, economic developments, and emerging market opportunities to inform strategy.
- Evaluate business performance metrics and propose actionable recommendations for enhancement.
- Design and implement data collection efforts such as surveys and interviews as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality compliance of data and research outputs.
- Support multiple organizational functions including strategic planning, business development, marketing, investment, and operations through research findings.
- Construct financial, statistical, or market analysis models when applicable.
- Present research conclusions and advice effectively to management and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align research objectives with business needs.
- Maintain and update research databases, knowledge bases, and market intelligence resources.
Requirements
- Preferably possess experience in research, data analysis, consulting, market research, business intelligence, finance, or allied fields.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or similar data analytics platforms is advantageous.
- Demonstrated capability in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking, and presentation.
- Adept at interpreting complex information and conveying findings clearly.
- Keen attention to detail combined with strong organizational abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple research projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related discipline.
