Position Summary

We are seeking a Retail Store Coordinator to join our team at the HomeSense location in Charlottetown, PE. This role involves leading and motivating team members to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote operational excellence including visual merchandising, customer service, and merchandise processing in back rooms.
• Ensure consistently high customer service and store operation standards by providing adequate updates and keeping the team coordinated.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, facilitating team collaboration and training associates on relevant service policies and procedures.
• Coach and develop associates in merchandise presentation and customer engagement, fostering a culture focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Create compelling and strategic merchandise displays to enhance the store’s brand presence and value proposition.

Candidate Profile

• Possess between 1 and 2 years of retail or service experience with solid understanding of customer needs and store operations.
• Exhibit strong teamwork abilities and encourage positive working relationships across the team.
• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changes as they arise.
• Excellent communication and time management skills to effectively share information and prioritize tasks.
