About the Role
The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Head in coordinating market activities, managing order processing, communicating with dealers, and maintaining sales documentation. This role includes assisting with local dispatch arrangements and following up on payment collections to ensure smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process orders by receiving dealer requests, preparing delivery challans, and collaborating with packing and dispatch teams for timely delivery.
- Maintain consistent communication with dealers to provide updates on orders, gather quality feedback, and send payment reminders.
- Keep comprehensive records including sales registers, invoice copies, delivery proofs, and dealer information.
- Conduct local market visits alongside the Sales Head to monitor pricing trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with the transport team to ensure accurate loading of products according to order specifications concerning quantity and grade.
- Support the Payments Collection Officer by following up with dealers on outstanding payments.
- Prepare daily reports concerning dispatch status, dealer off-take, and pending orders and relay these to the Sales Head.
- Assist in Management Information System (MIS) activities by compiling daily sales summaries and updating dealer-wise collection status.
Additional Information
Salary: The position offers a monthly range of 15,000 to 27,000 INR.
Location: The role is based in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site employment.
