About the Role

This full-time Sales Assistant position is based in Kingscourt, County Cavan, focusing on delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that every customer interaction is handled with pride, passion, and care, while inspiring shoppers through comprehensive product knowledge and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Centra brand by embodying its core values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Focused.
• Maintain a positive attitude and take accountability to guarantee an excellent shopping experience for every customer.
• Efficiently and professionally handle all customer enquiries in alignment with store policies.
• Ensure all store shelves are merchandised to the highest standards and the store environment is well-organized.
• Welcome and adapt to new initiatives and innovative methods of working within the store.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
• Ability to prioritise customer needs and interact warmly with shoppers.
• Highly organised, attentive to detail, and adaptable to changing demands.
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• A customer-focused mindset is essential.
• Previous experience in customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
