About Fluence
Fluence (Nasdaq: FLNC) is a global leader in intelligent energy storage and software optimization for renewables and storage sectors. Their solutions enhance grid resilience and maximize renewable energy portfolios across almost 50 markets worldwide, transforming energy provision towards sustainability.
Role Overview
As an AI Specialist / Vibe Coder at Fluence, you will rapidly create AI agents, design automation workflows, build complex Salesforce Flow logic, and deliver operational proofs-of-concept swiftly—often within days. Positioned where AI technology, low-code platforms, and commercial operations intersect, you collaborate directly with Sales and Marketing to turn automation concepts into active, widely used solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Agentforce AI agents to support sales activities such as account summaries, proposal assistance, and next-best-action suggestions.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Flow automations to minimize manual interventions, enforce process lifecycle rules, and provide timely alerts to sales reps and managers.
- Create rapid AI and automation prototypes for stakeholder evaluation, targeting turnaround times of one to three days per prototype.
- Offer expert AI guidance during implementations by third-party partners and collaborate with IT on security, data governance, and deployment.
- Generate adoption resources including prompt guides, workflow documentation, quick-start aids, and embedded help materials.
- Continuously review emerging large language model (LLM) and agent capabilities, translating them into high-impact, governed business improvements.
- Partner with commercial teams in discovery sessions to capture requirements and verify delivered automation matches actual operational needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum three years of practical experience with Salesforce declarative automation tools like Salesforce Flow or Process Builder.
- Proven background in working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or constructing AI agents leveraging language models.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build working prototypes from scratch; a demonstrated portfolio of completed projects is valued over certifications.
- Competent at engaging directly with non-technical stakeholders to shape requirements and confirm solutions.
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes including lead management, opportunity tracking, pipeline analysis, and proposal workflows.
- Sound understanding of AI data security principles such as prompt injection risks, data access controls, and audit logging.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein Copilot agents.
- Experience integrating platforms like Gong or Demandbase within go-to-market workflows.
- Familiarity with collaborating in sprint-driven environments alongside external implementation partners.
- Background in energy, infrastructure, industrial SaaS, or similarly complex B2B sectors.
Organizational Culture
Fluence fosters a culture emphasizing openness, inclusive participation, and decisive action under their core values: Unleash Voices, Customer Fluent, Infinite Impact, and All In. They strive for diverse perspectives, customer-centric innovation, breakthrough sustainable solutions, and collective ownership for growth.
Equal Opportunity and Work Authorization
Fluence is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or any protected status. Candidates must have work authorization in the United States without employer sponsorship at application and employment time, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
