Role overview

Amplar Health, now operating as Medibank’s unified health services brand, is looking for a careful and driven Scheduling Coordinator to support its Home and Allied Health team in South Australia. This position plays an important part in keeping services running smoothly by handling referral intake, administration, scheduling, and allocation for Allied Health and Home Health work.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and administer Allied Health referrals, including communication with referring parties.
  • Create, publish, and revise schedules and rosters to help deliver services on time and efficiently.
  • Work within program rules, contract KPIs, and workforce requirements.
  • Keep rostering and scheduling records accurate, well-governed, and properly documented.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase workforce efficiency and lower operating costs.
  • Develop productive working relationships with internal teams, outside providers, and brokerage networks.

Required experience and strengths

  • Background in scheduling, or in a large planning or rostering environment.
  • Very strong Excel capability, with Access or SQL exposure viewed favourably.
  • Clear communication skills and a strong customer service approach.
  • Comfort working independently as well as with others in a busy setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, resilience, and a proactive, practical mindset.

Preferred experience

  • Prior rostering or scheduling experience in hospital or community health settings.
  • Strong ability to analyse information and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of rostering methods, logic, and best-practice approaches.
