Overview
Highbrow LLC is looking to hire an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in producing superior software solutions. The candidate should possess deep knowledge of Agile concepts, Scrum practices, and servant leadership, with a talent for fostering teamwork, eliminating barriers, and driving ongoing enhancements among multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Duties
- Lead key Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Scrum teams on Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and continual improvement.
- Identify and remove obstacles that obstruct team productivity and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to keep the product backlog organized and prioritized.
- Monitor sprint metrics including sprint progress, velocity, and team performance through Agile reporting tools.
- Encourage openness, responsibility, and clear communication between all stakeholders.
- Assist with release planning to ensure milestones are met as scheduled.
- Cultivate a culture centered on continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of Agile best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional groups such as developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and leadership.
- Recognize and implement opportunities to enhance Agile workflows and team productivity.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong grasp of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and servant leadership mentality.
- Proven track record in facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding multiple Scrum teams.
- Practical knowledge of Agile project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Robust problem-solving and conflict management capabilities.
- Experience collaborating with diverse, cross-functional, and distributed teams.
