Overview
The Security Risk Analyst role at OmniSystems focuses on coordinating audits, responding to auditor documentation requests, and ensuring accurate representation of security compliance to auditors. The position also involves performing site security assessments aligned with federal security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with auditors and fulfill document requests.
- Provide evidence and documentation of security compliance during audits.
- Conduct site security evaluations that comply with federal mandates.
Required Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven hands-on experience conducting NIST 800-53A security assessments, as well as FISMA and A-123 audits.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of the Risk Management Framework described in NIST SP 800-37.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An aptitude for quickly grasping audit requirements and identifying primary and alternative means, such as evidence or artifacts, to demonstrate compliance.
- Capability to design comprehensive Corrective Action Plans.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within audit teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with the Cyber Security Assessment Management System (CSAM).
Certification Preferences
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials are advantageous.
