Senior Program Manager E-Commerce

About the Role

Join our team supporting eBay as a Senior Program Manager based in Berlin (hybrid working model combining office and home). This role centers on steering compliance rollout across eBay's European platforms, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of evolving regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination efforts to implement compliance directives successfully throughout eBay's EU channels.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Product, Policy, and Business units to harmonize requirements and facilitate efficient delivery.
• Monitor compliance-related product features, assign clear ownerships, and maintain transparency in progress tracking.
• Translate diverse requirements into concise, actionable deliverables for Product teams and supervise their fulfillment.
• Generate periodic status reports while proactively identifying and escalating risks or misalignments early.
• Contribute to reporting duties and documentation supporting wider regulatory initiatives.
• Detect procedural inefficiencies and recommend straightforward improvements to bolster cross-team cooperation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 4 and 6 years of experience in project or program coordination, especially in technological, regulatory, or consulting sectors.
• Strong organizational prowess combined with excellent communication skills capable of distilling complex subjects.
• Proven capability working with international, cross-functional teams.
• Interest in or experience with environmental and product compliance considerations is advantageous.
• Proficient with project management and collaboration software such as Jira, Confluence, and Excel.
• Fluent English language skills at business professional level; additional European languages considered beneficial.
