Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Specialist to spearhead the deployment of ServiceNow packages, emphasizing custom application development and IT service management expertise. Candidates should bring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience to drive efficient and innovative implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create custom applications by leveraging ServiceNow platform essentials such as Glide scripting, GlideRecord, and GlideAjax methodologies.
• Successfully migrate complex out-of-the-box (OOTB) features across modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and SPM.
• Design and maintain business rule scripts, user interface policies, and manage update sets within application scope.
• Oversee CMDB structure by handling table relationships, managing CI class hierarchy reconciliation, and authoring rules for event management and grouping.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub functionalities.
• Configure security and connectivity protocols such as OAuth 2.0; manage API integrations including Tanium, Moveworks, BoomiDEX, Crowdstrike DDI, Juniper Mist, among others.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in ServiceNow platform fundamentals including Glide scripting, GlideRecord, and GlideAjax.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and configuration of Now Assist prompts.
• Knowledgeable in configuring ITSM product-specific settings, lifecycle of Incident Change Knowledge, SLA architecture, Virtual Agent Natural Language Understanding, and Generative AI integrations.
• Skilled in ITOM operations, MID Server deployment and credential management, Discovery pattern creation, Service Mapping, Event Management rule development and grouping, High-Level Architecture configuration, and system integrations.
• Capable of handling intricate OOTB migrations and autonomous system integrations.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, analytical thinking, and excellent interpersonal and teamwork communication skills.
