Role Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Video Editor with 2 to 5 years of expertise to join our Bengaluru-based team at HSR Layout. This full-time, on-site position requires a creative expert capable of weaving storytelling with expert technical skills. The candidate will oversee the entire post-production workflow, turning raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for product launches, marketing initiatives, social media, and brand narratives. Collaboration with scriptwriters, designers, marketers, and product teams is essential to craft captivating visual stories while upholding outstanding creative and production values.

Key Skills and Expertise

• Mastery in video editing, motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects software.
• Strong abilities in storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Experience producing impactful short-form videos tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Deep understanding of video formats, trends, and optimization for specific digital platforms.
• Capability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills within cross-disciplinary groups.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 2 and 5 years in professional video editing or post-production roles.
• Demonstrated record in creating premium digital, brand, or marketing video content.
• Preference for candidates with backgrounds in startups, digital-first brands, media firms, or creative ecosystems.
• A compelling portfolio or showreel that reflects creative storytelling and strong technical skills is essential.
• Additional familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, or similar post-production tools is advantageous.
• Relevant academic degrees or certifications are appreciated but not mandatory if an exceptional portfolio is provided.

Language Proficiency

Fluency in both English and Hindi is required.

Eligibility

Applicants should have completed any graduate degree or hold a Bachelor of Design in Film and Video Communication.
