Site Engineer

Overview

As a Site Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the technical integrity and seamless operation of the installation phase of industrial systems. You will act as the main on-site contact to ensure installations are carried out as per engineering design, within deadlines, and budget constraints, reporting directly to Project Engineer or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects to satisfy both internal and client quality, timeline, and strategic requirements, ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety Health (WSH) standards and preventing Liquidated Damages (LD) imposed by the Consultant or Owner.
• Maintain meticulous execution documentation and meeting records to protect against claims and requests for extensions, conducting periodic reviews of project files for order and accessibility.
• Foster positive working relationships with all site parties to ensure the project's scope remains on track.
• Oversee your installation team and subcontractors to guarantee adherence to quality and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
• Liaise with Main Contractor, Consultant, and Owner regarding schedules and site services, managing client changes promptly and ensuring all project documents are updated accurately.
• Conduct weekly status meetings to discuss site issues and project progress with supervisors.
• Review and approve safety documents including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures, Fall Prevention Plans, Lifting Plans, Safety Management Systems, and Permits to Work to uphold safe work execution.
