About the Company

They are currently seeking skilled Site Engineers and Senior Site Engineers in Galway and Clare to join their expert team committed to delivering technical excellence.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform precise setting out activities utilizing total station and GPS technology.
• Establish and uphold systematic procedures with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure efficient communication, approvals, meeting coordination, and reporting.
• Maintain detailed daily records of site operations, information, and incidents via the site management system.
• Adhere to and promote safety standards, ensuring safe working practices and reporting any unsafe conduct.
• Follow company ISO procedures rigorously throughout projects.
• Provide updates to management on project timelines, ensuring conformity with plans, specifications, and building regulations.
• Conduct site surveys and verify adherence to engineering details.
• Supervise subcontractors and perform quality checks on their work.
• Participate in document reviews and site meetings to guarantee adherence to construction schedules.
• Report all engineering-related project details to the Project Manager and senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with established construction methods, particularly related to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
• Manage project completion activities including securing warranties, guarantees, approvals, subcontract and vendor closures, and submission of as-built documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years in a comparable Site Engineer role.
• Possession of an Engineering degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques including setting out, surveying, and temporary works.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in IT, including strong skills in MS Office and CAD software.
• Robust understanding of Health & Safety requirements specific to Irish construction sites.
• Strong leadership and management competencies.
• Holding a full Irish driving license.
