Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in Vancouver and the surrounding Lower Mainland. The role involves leading on-site activities, coordinating trades, managing client relations, and ensuring projects valued from $1M to $35M are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Immediate or near-immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Direct daily construction activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Foster strong collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
Coordinate with the Project Management team to align site execution with budgets and client expectations.
Serve as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients.
Manage thorough documentation using tools like Procore and SiteDocs, including field reports, change orders, and cost tracking.
Monitor and control project budgets, identify efficiencies, and provide financial updates to leadership.

Qualifications

5-10 years experience in commercial construction, preferably as a Site Superintendent.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
Proficient leadership and communication skills.
Experience with construction management software such as Procore, SiteDocs, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Current residency in the Greater Vancouver area with availability for in-person site work.
Preferred immediate or near-immediate start (within 1-2 weeks).
