About the Role

Become an integral part of the production team at Yeo Valley Organic's Cannington site, where you will be pivotal in preparing and packing high-quality dairy products. Your responsibilities include operating mixing machinery, ensuring adherence to hygiene and quality standards, and supporting timely supply throughout production stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and upkeep milk mixing equipment and related machinery.
• Accurately implement mixing formulas and adhere to production timelines.
• Perform regular quality inspections and maintain detailed batch documentation.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to guarantee product consistency and compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the plant environment.
• Contribute to inventory management, stock rotation, and general production support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Effective teamwork capabilities.
• Physically capable of performing manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting is essential.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
• Engineering skills are an advantage.

Working Conditions

The position operates on a rotational schedule of four days on followed by four days off, with shifts covering 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
