Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, office-based Software QA Test Engineer to join our Information Technology team in our Mumbai office. This role involves close collaboration with developers and end users to ensure the software meets user requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and users to verify application conformance to requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and project documentation.
• Engage in peer review processes for test cases to ensure quality.
• Design, understand, and execute complex SQL queries for backend database validation.
• Detect, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Analyze and supplement requirement specifications to achieve full test coverage.
• Assist in facilitating acceptance test execution with end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of software testing experience, ideally within an Agile-like environment.
• Proven experience in manually designing and executing test cases for complex applications.
• Strong ability to compose and interpret intricate SQL queries.
• Between 6 months to 1 year of experience validating databases/backends using tools such as Cassandra, MSSQL, MongoDB, Studio 3T.
• Familiarity with Snowflake is advantageous.
• Comfortable working within multi-disciplinary teams involving developers, department heads, and users.
• Excellent computer literacy accompanied by strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Healthcare regulatory experience is a beneficial addition.
