Job overview
As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will help create a welcoming hotel experience by keeping kitchen and dining support areas clean, organized, and ready for service. The role is centered on hygiene, stock control, event support, and team coordination, all while contributing to the warmth and quality associated with hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure service items remain clean and ready for use, including chinaware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, and polished silver.
- Track inventory levels and keep supplies and equipment arranged so operations run smoothly.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties in the kitchen, such as mopping floors and removing waste.
- Prepare clean serviceware and assist with setup for banquets and other functions.
- Work in line with hygiene standards, safe handling practices, and health and safety procedures when dealing with hazardous materials.
- Escalate safety risks, damage, or equipment problems to the supervisor on duty without delay.
- Guide and support new colleagues by sharing know-how and helping build team capability.
