About Luminai
Luminai is revolutionizing healthcare operations by automating the traditionally labor-intensive workflows that rely heavily on manual processes. Our platform structures and automates critical operational handoffs across systems, enabling doctors and administrators to focus primarily on patient care by delegating mission-critical workflows to autonomous AI systems.
We have secured $60 million in funding, including a Series B round led by Peak XV Partners, alongside participation from Define Ventures, General Catalyst, and prominent Silicon Valley investors such as executives from OpenAI, Dropbox, Twitter, and other technology leaders. Our teams work primarily from offices in San Francisco and New York, with a flexible work schedule including four office days per week and optional remote work on Wednesdays.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategy Lead to steer Luminai's growth across healthcare operations. This leadership position involves close collaboration with company executives, Product, Engineering, Deployment, and Commercial units to identify high-impact domains, prioritize use cases, and translate market insights into actionable strategies.

- Formulate strategic positions for Luminai within these domains, prioritizing use cases and defining success factors for competitive advantage.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to guide product differentiation and platform positioning.
- Advise on product packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies tailored to various stakeholders and buyers.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to align roadmap priorities with customer workflow realities and constraints.
- Engage with domain experts and external healthcare operators to enhance strategic insights and accelerate learning.
- Support commercial teams through early product engagement, customer interactions, opportunity shaping, and strategic deal facilitation.

- Lead complex, ambiguous challenges from initial analysis to clear strategic recommendations with minimal supervision.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience spanning strategy consulting, product management, healthcare operations, business development, or related leadership roles.
- Substantial experience within healthcare systems, including familiarity with their operational and purchasing dynamics.
- Strong product acumen demonstrated by shaping solutions or workflow-based offerings and aligning them with market opportunities.
- Proven record of exceptional performance in challenging environments, regardless of specific background.
- Ability to independently lead cross-functional projects through all phases from problem definition to execution.
- Demonstrated skill in business development with the ability to identify, shape, and advance opportunities yielding real customer or partnership growth.
- Superior communication capabilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in AI, workflow automation, enterprise software, or adjacent healthcare technologies.
- Additional advantage for candidates with firsthand experience working alongside frontline healthcare teams to bridge strategy and operational realities.
- Candidates based in San Francisco Bay Area or New York City are preferred; relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants.
