Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for managing activities related to planning, procurement, distribution, and aftermarket services in supply chain operations. Your role directly contributes to helping clients generate $5 in value for every $1 invested.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal product availability, minimizing shortages and excess stock.
- Design and implement replenishment plans aligned with sales trends, forecasts, and current inventory status.
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate order cycles, lead times, and delivery schedules, fostering strong supplier partnerships.
- Manage order placement to align with demand forecasts and inventory levels, ensuring timely procurement.
- Analyze sales data, inventory figures, and supplier performance metrics to guide effective replenishment decisions.
- Work alongside the demand planning team to review market trends, adjust forecasts, and plan capacity effectively.
- Align purchasing procedures with budget constraints to optimize costs without compromising quality or availability.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues such as disruptions or inventory inconsistencies promptly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, warehouse, and sales departments to improve process efficiencies.
- Perform analysis and solve lower-complexity problems with moderate supervision.
- Engage primarily with peers within the organization, with limited interaction with clients or senior management.
- Follow detailed instructions on new tasks and receive guidance on daily activities.
- Make decisions impacting your own work and potentially affecting team outputs.
- Contribute as an individual team member with a focused scope of responsibilities.
- Availability to work in rotational shifts as required.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, replenishment buying, or supply chain management.
- Hold a graduation degree; a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability with proficiency in data analysis, inventory management systems, and reporting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
- Experience managing supplier relationships including negotiation and issue resolution.
- Proficient in inventory software such as SAP, Oracle, and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Quick and effective problem-solving skills.
