Technical Product Manager

Role Overview

This opportunity is provided on behalf of a partner company that handles applications and recruitment processes. They are in search of a Technical Product Manager located in Ireland to lead the vision, development, and operational excellence for critical risk and trust infrastructure at a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the comprehensive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plans for risk, trust, and payment security features, converting business goals into scalable technical deliverables.
• Serve as the main driver for platform initiatives by specifying requirements, APIs, event-driven architectures, and priorities covering fraud screening, card vaulting, account updates, and migrating portfolios.
• Lead and collaborate with a highly autonomous cross-functional team, including engineering leaders and technical stakeholders, ensuring delivery of robust and high-impact platform capabilities.
• Advance the deployment of AI-driven and autonomous fraud prevention systems to minimize manual interventions and support global payment operations scalability.
• Ensure production excellence by fostering a culture of ownership, upholding high-quality standards, and holding teams accountable for systems’ maintenance and performance.
• Promote scalable, secure, and observable architecture designs tailored for multi-tenant environments, elastic growth, and operational durability.
• Apply data-informed prioritization methods to assess opportunities, balance technical investments, and generate structured roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders in product, engineering, and business sectors to articulate technical trade-offs and align execution strategies with long-term goals.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Manager in highly technical contexts, preferably in platforms, infrastructure, fintech, payments, fraud detection, or security-related product areas.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven systems, and contemporary software engineering practices.
• Proven track record managing complex platform products with close collaboration with engineers on architecture, reliability, and scalability decisions.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, serverless technologies, microservices, programming languages like Kotlin and Go, and communication protocols such as gRPC and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated capability to drive project execution by removing impediments, handling inter-team dependencies, and enhancing delivery effectiveness.
• Product-oriented mindset balancing technical excellence with customer needs and business priorities.
• Experience in risk management, fraud detection, payment security, tokenization, PCI compliance, or card infrastructure is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences and clarify complex concepts.
• A proactive builder approach favoring scalable, modular, and maintainable solutions over temporary fixes.
