About the Team
You will be part of the EMEA & APAC Technical Success Management (TSM) team, which consists of skilled Technical Success Managers collaborating closely with Account Managers to support a varied portfolio of enterprise clients. The team merges deep technical expertise with business acumen to address complex issues, foster customer trust, identify growth opportunities, and drive significant outcomes. Collaboration is fundamental, working alongside Support, Product, PS&I, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, applying ownership, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving in every task.
Role Overview
As a Technical Success Manager, you will act as a trusted consultant for enterprise customers across EMEA, blending technical proficiency with customer-centric focus to ensure seamless workflows, integrations, and implementations that maximize business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain dependable billing, payments, and revenue operations, allowing client teams to prioritize growth activities.
- Accelerate rollout of new pricing models, products, and market entries by guiding customers through Chargebee's best practices.
- Deliver actionable insights on adoption and usage to assist leadership in identifying revenue growth opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise ensuring clients can confidently scale their operations using Chargebee without unexpected issues.
- Serve as a genuine partner by accurately conveying customer feedback and requirements to influence Chargebee's product strategy.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in techno-functional roles such as Technical Success Manager, Solutions Consultant, or Post-Sales Engineer.
- Proficiency in working with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integrations, and a strong interest in AI technologies.
- Familiarity with subscription payment processes like chargebacks, declines, and reconciliation, or a willingness to quickly learn these concepts.
- Excellent communication skills capable of translating technical information for both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Proven success in driving customer outcomes related to adoption, retention, or expansion.
- Hands-on experience with API solutioning and integration platform as a service (iPaaS) tools.
- German language proficiency to effectively support customers in the EMEA region.
Desirable Skills
- Strong presentation abilities with a track record of delivering impactful presentations across diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of AI products and tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Support, Engineering, and Marketing departments.
Compensation and Work Terms
Chargebee provides competitive and fair compensation packages determined by factors like experience, qualifications, location, and peer salaries. Eligible candidates can also receive equity and benefits. The position requires onsite presence at least one day per week and participation in Quarterly Business Reviews, entailing several days of travel to the office as needed.
