Technical Training Instructor

Role Overview

Qatar Airways is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to join its technical training department in Doha, Qatar. This position involves designing instructional programs, conducting training sessions, evaluating training effectiveness, and mentoring staff to ensure they meet mandatory training standards and acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to fulfill their job functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update training materials in alignment with current regulatory standards and company policies.
• Deliver instruction and facilitate learning for trainees in associate training courses.
• Evaluate trainee performance at both subject and course levels to measure learning outcomes.
• Create and update training resources, including notes and presentations for QCAR Part 66 basic modules (Module 9 and 10) and Part 145 courses.
• Formulate and validate examination questions to maintain an adequate exam question bank for scheduled assessments.
• Serve as an examiner or invigilator during examinations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Monitor trainee progress and recommend supplementary training if necessary.
• Maintain instructor and examiner qualifications in compliance with regulatory and organizational mandates.
• Identify training challenges and suggest enhancements to improve instructional quality.
• Accurately document training records within the training management system to facilitate certification processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum educational qualification: High School diploma or Vocational/Diploma equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of the Train the Trainer course is mandatory.
• Successful completion of EASA/QCAR Part 66 Basic Training Modules 9 and 10.
• Proficiency in English to effectively deliver QCAR Part 66 modules and Part 145 training.
