Technician

Role overview

BizLink Speedy Pte. Ltd. is looking for a Technician in Singapore to support assembly, testing, documentation, and shopfloor coordination activities. The role involves working with technical instructions, handling tools and equipment, assisting with process improvements, and helping maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read and apply assembly instructions, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
• Carry out assembly work using hand tools and related equipment with good proficiency.
• Work with engineering teams to refine processes and support the rollout of changes.
• Build and test system racks, and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
• Promote and follow 5S practices along with workplace safety requirements.
• Guide operators so that quality and output targets are consistently achieved.
• Maintain complete production documentation and related records.
• Support basic electronics assembly activities as needed.
• Take on any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• A diploma or an equivalent qualification is required, together with at least 2 years of relevant experience or comparable training.
• Hands-on background in electrical and electronics assembly is necessary.
• Comfortable using MS Office and Google Sheets, or similar tools.
• Prior exposure to SAP and MES platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills are important.
• Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed is expected.
