Tendering Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Tendering Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role involves managing all aspects of tender preparation and submission to secure construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to fully understand each project requirement.
• Develop and coordinate tender submissions, commercial proposals, and quotations accurately and timely.
• Collaborate closely with estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure precise tender pricing and proposals.
• Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and gather competitive bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support quantity take-offs and perform cost evaluations during tender preparation.
• Identify project risks, clarify exclusions, and address project requirements throughout the tender process.
• Create tender comparison matrices, pricing summaries, and assemble all necessary submission documents.
• Guarantee complete and punctual submission of all tender documentation.
• Engage with clients and consultants to resolve tender clarifications and accommodate additional requirements.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders and update status reports regularly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with tendering and estimation in the UAE construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent tender submissions successfully.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant tendering or estimation software; skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management capabilities.
