Position Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer responsible for the comprehensive design process of Anytime AI's software products—from conducting user research and mapping workflows to creating wireframes, polished high-fidelity mockups, and performing design quality assurance on released features. You will collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, and client-facing personnel to transform complex legal procedures into user-friendly and reliable experiences tailored for busy attorneys and paralegals. This role carries high responsibility within a dynamic startup environment where your designs directly impact AI adoption in the legal sector.

Responsibilities

• Convert product requirements and vision into detailed user flows, wireframes, and refined UI designs for web-based applications.
• Create AI-centered interaction models including document review workflows, chat-based help, citation management, and human verification to foster user confidence in AI outputs.
• Develop and sustain a unified design system encompassing components, typography, color schemes, and icons as the product evolves.
• Lead user interviews, usability testing, and shadow workflows with legal professionals to gather actionable insights.
• Interpret user feedback, support data, and usage analytics to uncover friction points and areas for enhancement, turning findings into prioritized design solutions.
• Collaborate intensively with engineering for design specifications, implementation reviews, and rapid iterations.
• Align design focus with product roadmap and sales commitments through close cooperation with relevant teams.
• Execute thorough design quality checks before client demonstrations and public releases to ensure high standards.
• Evaluate industry competitors and adjacent market products to integrate trends and innovative AI UX patterns into our competitive design strategy.
• Provide input on product planning by identifying UX technical debt and suggesting design-focused feature opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or an equivalent discipline, or commensurate practical experience.
• Between 3 and 8 years of experience in UI/UX design for intricate software platforms, with preference for candidates familiar with B2B SaaS, AI technologies, or legal technology domains.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing full-cycle design projects from research and problem framing through to high-quality final interfaces.
• Advanced skills in Figma or comparable design tools, including component management, prototyping, and effective developer handoffs.
• Experience with complex data workflows, document-centric user interfaces, or AI-enabled product designs.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude, capable of making informed design decisions using both qualitative and quantitative inputs.
• Excellent communication skills combined with experience in collaborative, cross-disciplinary environments and able to clearly justify design choices.
• Understanding of front-end development constraints like HTML/CSS and responsive design; knowledge of the legal sector is advantageous.
