Position Overview
This contractor role involves working remotely to perform detailed video annotation tasks. The position requires identifying and labeling recurring occurrences in short video clips, following defined project protocols. Annotators must mark precise start and end points for each event and compose clear, concise descriptions. Quality, accuracy, and consistency are essential, along with effective communication to resolve any ambiguities.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and segment repetitive events in short video clips as per project requirements.
- Mark each event accurately with specific start and end timestamps.
- Create clear and uniform written descriptions for every annotated event.
- Maintain high standards in annotation quality and consistency.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal means to clarify tasks and address uncertainties.
- Continuously review and improve own annotations to follow updated guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in English for written and verbal communication to ensure accurate annotations and effective collaboration.
- Proven experience in video annotation, content moderation, writing, video editing, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing precise data labels.
- Ability to understand complex annotation instructions and adapt quickly to feedback.
- Experience with AI training data or machine learning annotation projects is advantageous.
