Bigwig Social seeks a creative and meticulous Video Editor capable of transforming raw video footage into captivating, polished content aimed at social media and digital marketing platforms. The candidate will play a key role in producing videos that engage audiences across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit both short and long video formats suitable for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, and corporate content.
• Incorporate transitions, motion graphic elements, animated text, subtitles, sound effects, and background music to enhance video quality.
• Apply color correction and perform basic audio adjustments to improve production value.
• Coordinate closely with the creative team to fully grasp project goals and deliver accordingly.
• Manage and archive video files and related project resources efficiently.
• Deliver projects within set deadlines while upholding high-quality standards.
• Keep abreast of the newest trends in video editing and social media content styles.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Capcut software.
• Fundamental skills in After Effects for creating motion graphics.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of narrative techniques including storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong creativity combined with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge about different social media video formats and aspect ratios.
