Job Overview
Laparkan Shipping Suriname is seeking a dependable and industrious Warehouse Associate to join our Toronto-based team. This role involves supporting daily logistics and warehouse operations within a high-energy environment. The ideal candidate must be detail-focused, well-organized, and capable of working collaboratively within a team setting.
Key Duties
- Receive, categorize, and label incoming shipments accurately
- Pick, pack, and ready orders for dispatch efficiently
- Support loading and unloading of trucks as needed
- Maintain precise inventory documentation and communicate any inconsistencies
- Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and orderly
- Operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts, contingent on certification
Candidate Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification
- Physical ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged durations
- Keen attention to detail paired with effective time management capabilities
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics roles is considered an advantage
- Able to perform tasks independently and contribute positively to team efforts
