Opportunity Overview
A well-regarded specialised equipment manufacturer is expanding its operations into the Sydney region and is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee activities at a newly established facility in Lane Cove. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse functions including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve operational excellence.
- Manage freight coordination and logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain precise inventory levels utilizing ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Implement process enhancements and drive operational efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to Workplace Health and Safety policies, quality requirements, and company standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage methodologies, and workflow to improve productivity.
- Work closely with internal teams to support business growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in leadership or management roles within warehouse environments.
- Strong expertise in logistics, freight coordination, and inventory control.
- Proficient in the use of ERP, WMS, or equivalent warehouse software tools.
- Hands-on leadership style complemented by effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Driven by continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Forklift license is beneficial.
- Must possess full legal working rights in Australia.
