TAG is a comprehensive digital marketing agency based in Melbourne, specialising in driving business growth through strategic planning, creative solutions, paid media, website development, CRM, and digital transformation. The head office is situated in Balaclava, Melbourne, and the Web Designer role is a full-time permanent position based here.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and internal teams to grasp project aims, business objectives, and user needs.
- Design, plan, and develop website layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces.
- Produce visually appealing and responsive website designs emphasizing user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and accessibility standards.
- Create innovative concepts, page layouts, and digital assets tailored to clients' brands and their target audience.
- Work alongside developers, strategists, and project managers to ensure designs are accurately executed.
- Maintain design documentation, style guides, and design systems for consistency.
- Perform quality checks on websites during production to verify consistency, functionality, and quality.
- Conduct thorough website audits and suggest enhancements related to usability, performance, and conversion rates.
- Keep updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web design.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Web Design, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or associated fields.
- Proven experience in designing responsive websites, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work.
- Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern web design tools such as Webflow.
- Deep understanding of responsive design techniques, accessibility requirements, and user-focused design methodologies.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering premium-quality work within set deadlines.
Salary Details
The annual salary range for this position is between 80,000 and 85,000 AUD.
