Electrical Estimation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Estimation Engineer to join Kalak Spearhead Consultancy, a prominent provider of turnkey MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services known for delivering comprehensive solutions for complex infrastructural projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents thoroughly to understand project requirements.
• Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform detailed quantity take-offs.
• Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to vendors and compare received quotations carefully.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
• Develop accurate cost estimates covering Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of tender documentation in support of project bids.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.).

Skills Needed

• Familiarity with estimation processes specific to MEP projects.
• Proficient in preparing BOQs and quantity take-offs.
• Experience handling vendor communications and quotation comparison.
• Strong understanding of cost analysis methodologies for electrical and allied services.
• Knowledge of tender preparation and bid management.
