IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

Overview

This role involves providing dedicated onsite IT infrastructure assistance at a local winery located in the Greater San Diego area. The specialist will handle installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and upkeep of various networking equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for all IT infrastructure components.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Support and manage the structured cabling and network setup.
• Install, configure, and maintain security camera systems, with emphasis on Ubiquiti UniFi Protect.
• Oversee Ubiquiti UniFi environments, including managing the UniFi Dream Machine Pro.
• Address infrastructure issues promptly to reduce downtime.
• Act as the primary onsite IT contact for all infrastructure-related needs.
• Work independently and engage effectively with winery staff.
• Ensure consistent onsite presence as a local resource.

Additional Information

• Position is part-time with a long-term contract, estimated 50 to 100 hours per month.
• Immediate start is anticipated.
