The Local Sorter Package Manager plays a crucial role in managing the flow of packages through loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking. The role may involve operating heavy machinery and requires working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and diligently implement UPS package handling protocols.
• Load and unload packages into trailers or delivery vehicles.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to lift items weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kgs).
• Able to read and memorize postal codes accurately.
• Flexibility to work varying shift schedules up to five days a week.
• Previous experience in warehouse environments is preferred.

Compensation and Work Environment

• Competitive wages with a starting pay rate of $18.50 per hour.
