Overview

We are seeking skilled Automotive HiL Validation Engineers with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru or Chennai. This role involves comprehensive validation of automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) platforms. The engineer will also be tasked with creating automation frameworks to boost test efficiency and accuracy.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct HiL testing and validation of automotive ECUs.
Design, implement, and maintain test scenarios in ControlDesk and AutomationDesk environments.
Set up and manage dSPACE HiL testing systems.
Develop and run automated test scripts employing Python and CAPL scripting languages.
Execute and troubleshoot CAN protocol-based testing procedures.
Validate ECU functions and lead diagnostic evaluations.
Review test outcomes, detect issues, and contribute to root cause identification.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, system design, and validation to ensure quality standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Proven expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with dSPACE ControlDesk and AutomationDesk software platforms.
Well-versed with CAN communication protocols and testing techniques.
In-depth knowledge of ECU testing processes and automotive diagnostic protocols.
Proficient in scripting with CAPL and Python for automation purposes.
Comprehensive experience in automotive testing and validation activities.

Preferred Competencies

Familiarity with Vector tools including CANoe and CANalyzer.
Experience with diagnostic standards such as UDS and ISO14229.
Understanding of the automotive ECU development lifecycle.
Knowledge of ASPICE and other automotive quality standards.

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as ECE, EEE, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Automotive, or related fields is mandatory.
