Job Overview
This full-time position based in Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada offers an opportunity to work as a Kitchen Helper without any requirement for formal education or prior experience, as training will be provided.
Key Duties
- Deliver clean dishes, flatware, and various items to serving locations and arrange tables appropriately.
- Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently.
- Manually clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen utensils.
- Prepare food portions and wrap them securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen area including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle receipt, unpacking, and storage of supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and designated storage areas.
- Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
- Sharpen kitchen knives ensuring tools are safe and ready for use.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain hygiene standards.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
Additional Information
- Shift options include early morning, morning, evening, night, day, and weekend shifts.
- This is a permanent role committed to a 40-hour workweek.
